Today is a special day for many people everywhere… but for us, Valentine’s Day is special for another reason. On Valentines Day 1996, Ocean Frontiers was created by three friends - with just a single boat and the little-known gem that was the East End.

This year, the day extra special - as we celebrate 30 INCREDIBLE years serving the thousands of guests that have become not just friends - but our Green Shorts family.

As we begin our 30th Anniversary celebrations, we take to the Captain’s Blog to look back on our amazing first 30 years of business in East End, and the stories and milestones that define Ocean Frontiers Dive Shop, Compass Point Dive Resort, and the people that have built Ocean Frontiers and its legacy into what it is today.

A beach clean up was held today in East End, and it’s safe to say it was a big success 👍

Giving back to our community and our marine life by trying to keep our beaches a little bit cleaner is the least we can do.

The 3 sites on Bloody Bay were: Randy's Gazebo, Marilyn's Cut and Lea Lea's Lookout.

Bloody Bay was exactly where we left it! Now we're in Little Cayman, we've rolled out the big sail shade and now serving some watermelon after the first dive- Good turtle carving skills from Ethan.

Half Moon Diver is on her way to Bloody Bay! When the conditions are this good, we're up for a 3-Tank Expedition to Little Cayman. Ocean Frontiers is the only dive shop on Grand Cayman that runs day trips to Little Cayman.

Today's trip to Bloody Bay Wall is with our 'Digital Madness' photo group, lead by the one and only Alex Mustard. Alex and his group had an early start and were off the dock just before 6am. They are well on their through the crossing and can be tracked by clicking on this link:-

We always tell people - If you haven't dived the Kittiwake in the past ten years, you need to go again. Jess shows you just why in these epic shots by Alex Mustard Underwater Photography!

The growth of life on the wreck, which was sunk in 2011 to become an artificial reef on the western end of Grand Cayman, has been huge! What used to be bare metal has transformed into a colorful, multi-dimensional landscape inhabited by corals and fish that school around the structures of the ship.
