Coach Ed of Eagle Sports Academy led Academy Sports Club to victory in the opening round of the 2022 Youth Basketball Championship.
ASC 77 - LET IT FLY 74
Umar Gordon led in scoring with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 8 steals.
Sean Byles pulled in 18 rebounds, also chipped in 6 points, 4 steals, and 3 assist.
Darius Williams added 13 points and 4 steals.
Noah Brown added 13 points, 5 assist, and 2 takeaways. And a huge 3 pointer to beat the Halftime Buzzer.
Daric Ebanks struggled from the field shooting 0/10 from 3 point shot range but still added 6 points and 7 steals.
Nathan Alston battled tough in the paint all night and added 6 points and 6 rebounds.
Despite battling foul trouble Joshua Gardener still added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Mikhai Clarke added 2 points.

Eagle Sports Academy partnerned this year with the Family Resource Centre to host its 3rd annual 3x3 basketball tournament in recognition of International Men's Month
The day consisted of Junior and Senior Divisions competing for 3x3 cash prizes, also coupled with competitive challenges throughout the day which saw athletes take home additional cash prizes.
Thanks to all athletes, sponsors and, supporters who came out and enjoyed the , See you next year!

Great Footwork, agility, and speed are key attributes that separates good players from great players. As athletes we used speed, agility and quickness when we go out to play the big guys. 😊
Improvement can happen in the blink of an eye, if we dedicate ourselves to a better version of OURSELVES 😊....DAILY😉 🦅

Calling all Junior Ballers!
Register now for the exciting 3x3 Basketball in the environment it was meant to be - outdoors. Cox Court, GT, comes alive on Sunday, November 21 at 10am for this all-juniors competition. Boys and Girls in all Junior Divisions and U20. Max 4 members per team.
Registration now open! Team fee $100. Trophies for all divisons | Cash prize $250 (U17 & U20)
