Where you’re not thinking about whether that last move looked good, or planning what’s coming next. You’re just there. Fully in it. Fully immersed.
That’s flow state. That’s the pocket.
And for most of us, it happens totally by accident. One moment you’re dancing, the next you’re somehow inside the music — and you have no idea how you got there or how to get back.
I used to live for those flukes.
Now I understand exactly why they happen. Why they don’t happen. And how to actually train for them — the same way you’d train a trick.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but i have a boyfriend now.
Even if i waved a magic wand and dreamed up the perfect man i wouldn’t have been able to imagine someone that even comes close to him.
When i think about how i was able to find someone greater than my greatest dream, here’s what i realized:
i wasn’t single for the last 10 years. I was in a very deep, very serious relationship with myself.
Somewhere along the way i had stopped trying to find the right person and instead started to become the right person.
Dating was never about getting someone to love me, it was about learning to love myself.
In 10 years, i experienced loneliness, hopelessness, disappointment, and heartbreak. But i was always there for myself. And for that i never felt the need to settle. I never lowered my standards. I never compromised on what i wanted.
Because when you love yourself it becomes impossible to believe that someone else wouldn’t too.
If you’re single just remember that you’re not alone. You’re in the most important relationship of all—with yourself.
