Today, we engaged with many young girls through our community booth at the Champa Ban Mid-Season Competition

✨ What we did:
🎡 Spin-the-wheel game with fun small prizes (including rugby shirts supported by Hong Kong Football Club 🇭🇰)
📝 Registration for girls interested in joining Grassroots to Global (G2G) as volunteers, coaches, leaders, and club players
💬 Created a space for girls to share their voices, ideas, and experiences in rugby

All registered participants will be connected to our community network, where they will receive opportunities to:
- Join rugby clubs
- Become coaches or volunteers
- Develop leadership skills

This is the first step in building a stronger pathway for young women in rugby.

🏉 From community pitches to the global stage 🌏️

Lailor began her rugby journey at 11 as a Pass It Back player.

Now 22, she is a World Rugby Level 2 Coach with the Lao Rugby Federation mentoring the next generation and next week she will soon be sharing her story at Women Deliver 2026 conference in Melbourne, Australia.

Boudsadee Vongdala and Vilayphone Chaleunnit have been selected to represent the Asian Barbarians at the Nanairo Cup Women’s Sevens Tournament in Kitakyushu, Japan on 20–21 March 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for two Lao athletes to represent Laos on the international stage and gain valuable experience competing alongside players from across Asia.

We are proud to see Lao Rugby players representing Laos and Asian rugby on the international stage.
