Vientiane Buffalos Rugby Club

Thank you all for joining us in celebrating the club's 30th anniversary this past weekend.

The Vientiane Buffalos Rugby Club is celebrating our 30th Anniversary this year!!! The Buffalos are the oldest club in Laos, and our founding was also crucial to the eventual establishment of the Lao Rugby Federation and the growth of our sport in Laos.

Our club has always promoted the best aspects of rugby – friendship, fun and spirit. Many players from around the world have worn our clubs’ kit and “Once a Buffalo, always a Buffalo.”

The Vientiane Buffalos, Hogs and Tigers had the honor of hosting the Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) rugby side in their first ever tour of Laos. After a rousing games of 15s, all the ruggers enjoyed the Vientiane night life. Many thanks to SCC for making the trek to Laos and being such tourists. We hope to see you again.
