TCFC Summer Camp: A Place for Fun, Learning, and Inclusion

Come join our 12th annual summer camp, the longest-running camp in Laos. Our summer camp is more than just a place for physical activities—it’s a special community where kids from various schools come together to have a blast.

T.C.F.C. Summer Camp is for children ages 5 to 13. Campers are separated into three groups according to their age.

Ages 5-6: Team Elephants
Ages 7-9: Team Nagas
Ages 10-13: Team Dragons

Multi-Sport Camp activities include games such as; dodgeball, soccer, badminton, swimming, capture the flag, baseball, rock wall climbing, and multiple tag and team games! All activities are directed to the developmental age of the participant. The games will be challenging but achievable, guaranteeing that each child leaves the camp with a raised self esteem and most importantly having experienced fun and enjoyment while making new friends.

Here are some key features of TCFC Summer Camp:

1. Independence and Fun:

- Within the camp setting, children get to try new activities and develop a sense of independence. It’s a space where they can explore, learn, and have fun.

- Our safe environment allows children to gain self-confidence as they experience newly learned sports skills.

2. Social Skills Development:

- All our activities focus on enhancing social skills such as teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution.

- Kids learn to collaborate, express themselves, and work together effectively.

3. Teen Involvement:

- Teens aged 15-18 can participate in our “Junior Coaches” program.

- These young coaches gain valuable experience while developing work, leadership, and mentoring skills that will benefit their future goals.

4. Inclusive Play Environment:

- What sets TCFC apart is our commitment to inclusion.

- We incorporate both special needs and typically developing children in our camp.

5. Learning Together:

- Typically developing children learn patience, tolerance, guidance, and how to support their friends with special needs.

- Special needs children have the opportunity to interact with their typically developing friends, feeling the support, care, and encouragement given by their new friends.

6. Fostering Friendships and Character Building:

- TCFC Sports Camps provide a unique opportunity for children of all abilities to learn new sports.

- Beyond sports, they build lasting friendships, have fun, and develop character.

Although we'll be accepting more kids than last year, we'll still have to limit the amount of kids to be able to make camp safe and manageable. T.C.F.C. Sports Camp is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for all campers and staff.

In summary, TCFC Summer Camp is more than just sports—it’s a place where kids grow, learn, and create memories together.
