Strong performances and impressive endurance at the UA Inter-University Cross Country held on Friday, November 28 at 5:30 PM on our Campus.
Proud of our athletes for delivering outstanding results across both categories.
In the menβs race, Marc Zaarour from USEK took first place, followed by Luigi Angelil from LAU in second and Jeremie Touma from USEK in third. UAβs Charbel Younes secured fourth place, with teammate Peter Medlej finishing fifth.
In the womenβs category, UAβs Nagham Hassan claimed first place, while Marie-Joe Merheb from USEK came in second and Syrelle Lozom, also from USEK, finished third. The top five were completed by Tala Baltaji from LAU in fourth place and Myriam Succar from USEK in fifth.

The Lebanese Womenβs National Mini Football Team proudly claimed third place at the 2025 World Cup in Erbil after a remarkable journey: defeating Jordan (6β0), drawing with Kurdistan Iraq (1β1), and battling Brazil in the semifinals. π₯
We celebrate our student Lea Knair Douaihy, who not only scored all 5 goals in the decisive victory for bronze but also dedicated the medal to the Lebanese people in gratitude to her teammates, coaches, and the federation.
