Tannourine and Douma offer the perfect setting for a Sunday surrounded by mountains, nature, history, and family time 🌲🏔️.
This Sunday, we’re heading to Tannourine and Douma for a family-oriented day combining an easy hike, a visit to the deer farm, a historical walking tour, and a relaxing afternoon by the mountains.
We’ll start with an easy 4.5 KM hike inside Tannourine Cedar Nature Reserve, heading toward a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains, with a clear view toward Al Ribaz Mountain 🏔️.
After the hike, we’ll visit the deer farm, where we’ll interact with and feed the deer 🦌.
From there, we’ll continue to Douma for a one-hour walking tour through the historic village. We’ll explore six destinations, including the museum, old cinema, courthouse, historic churches, old market, and traditional shops, discovering the stories behind one of Lebanon’s most beautiful villages.
And of course, we’ll take an ice cream break along the way 🍦.
To end the day, we’ll head to Tannourine Valley Hotel for a long, relaxing break surrounded by the mountains. You’ll have the option to enjoy lunch and spend some time by the pool 🏔️☀️.

Join Routes on Sunday, August 9, for a full climbing experience with professional climbers rockmania.lebanon . Learn basic techniques, safety, and enjoy beginner-friendly routes in a safe, fun environment.
Whether it’s your first time or you want to explore climbing further, this day is designed to introduce you to the vertical world.
After climbing, enjoy access to Tannourine Valley Hotel pool, with an optional BBQ lunch by the pool.
We end the day with a short sunset hike to one of Tannourine’s viewpoints to enjoy golden hour over the mountains.
