“Fashet khele2”

This was my first attempt at a paraglide to wingsuit cutaway sequence. I’ve been toying with this idea for a while now, doing my test and figuring out the best rigging configuration to get the best possible outcome from both the paragliding flight and the freefall. Its still not there yet.

The takeoff part is not ideal, penguin hops with restricted feet on a strong windy day is a bit sketchy, the flight was not great either😅 the paragliding harness did not in fact carry the load and i was instead flying with my weight mostly on my base gear. Which after a 30 mins flight trying to catch thermals pretty much took a heavy toll on my legs. but hey it worked, i caught enough altitude to safely cutaway.

High pull and a short flight for safety reasons, i had a paragliding harness wedged in all the wrong ways under my suit so i wasn’t sure how it will react mid flight. Surprisingly it went good, actually the only part that went exactly to plan was the freefall.

Still a work in progress but this jump just opened up a new world for me, so many projects and so many lines i’ve been wanting to fly that are now going to be much easier because of this. Stay tuned!🤘

This is what happens when the right conditions are met at the local spot. Zero sink, zero lift, zero forward movement and zero back flying. Just balancing the glider and keeping it neutrally boyant😅 this was fun and my first time “standing” still in the middle of the air. Managed to hold this position for well over 5 mins but the full video is boring

BASE jumping in a post apocalyptic world.

Reposting this from the time we represented Lebanon at the airgames. The irony of it is while we do our best to represent our country and shed a positive light on it, we are met with set backs and obstacles to bring us down. Throughout my BASE career i’ve been stopped and banned from jumping 3 different times by 3 different sects of the government. Whats more ironic is the excuse they used all 3 times was that it is for my own safety and they don’t want to see me get hurt. I’m posting this while our country has been under constant bombardment for over 2 years now, people are dying on the streets, others are left homeless. Careers put on hold, future is uncertain. BASE jumping is dangerous, but not nearly as close as living in Lebanon. The difference is with BASE theres at least a reward after the risk.
