Nadhira Alharthy|

I woke up this morning to news I simply couldn’t process.

Nadhira, my tent mate on Everest, lost her life today after an avalanche while climbing Broad Peak.

The moment I read the news, I felt something sink deep in my heart. I just kept saying to myself, This can’t be true…

Some bonds are difficult to put into words. When you share a tent on Everest, you share fear, exhaustion, hope, and a dream. Those memories stay with you forever.

Nadhira was more than a mountaineer. She was a courageous woman and a pioneer from Oman who inspired so many women to believe that no dream is beyond their reach.

The mountains have taught me so much, but above all they have taught me humility. They give us some of the most beautiful moments of our lives, yet sometimes they take away people who were doing what they loved most.

Today, my heart is with her family, her friends, and the entire mountaineering community.

Goodbye, Nadhira.

Every time I look at my Everest photos, I will remember you… the laughter, the struggles, and the dream we shared on the highest mountain in the world.

May you rest in peace among the mountains you loved. 🤍🏔️

May her legacy continue to inspire others, just as she inspired so many during her life.

Sunset, Lebanese coffee, and the Lebanese mountains ✨☕⛰️

Some of life’s most magical moments don’t come from grand achievements. They quietly become part of our everyday lives.

On this Tuesday, and on the last day of my 41st year, I’m reminding myself to enjoy every minute of every day, to slow down enough to notice the beauty that already exists around me.

Grateful for all the lessons, the mountains climbed, the challenges overcome, the people I love, and the simple moments that make life so rich.

Here’s to embracing the present and welcoming 42 with an open heart. ✨

Seven years ago today, I completed the Seven Summits challenge and became the first Lebanese woman to stand on the highest peak of every continent.

What makes this journey even more meaningful to me is that I was born with hypermobility syndrome in my knee joints and was once told that running — let alone climbing mountains — would be difficult for me.

The mountains taught me that our struggles do not define our limits. With resilience, discipline, and belief, even the most impossible dreams can become reality.

Grateful for every lesson, every storm, every summit, and every person who believed in me along the way. ⛰️🇱🇧

What makes me happy?
This.

Desert nights
BBQ with friends and family
Marko running wild in the sand
Sunset colours and fire sparks
Laughter, stories, and no rush to be anywhere else

These are the moments that refill my energy and remind me why I work so hard
To live fully
To love deeply
To be present with my people

And a big thank you to Melanie who brings our gang together every single time! .e.l.a.n.i.e___

Make time for what makes you happy

Guess who is back here to share, exchange, and grow?

Me.

I went quiet for a while. Motherhood reshaped everything. My rhythm, my priorities, even my sense of voice. There were moments when I wondered if what I had to say still mattered, or if my place had shifted.

I can’t fully put it into words yet. But I know those words will come, and when they do, I’ll share them with you.

For now, today, I just want to show up again and pass on some Queen energy.
