The region of Tannourine is known to be the habitat of a large community of foxes, where they live inside their little caves in grey color rocky mountains. Foxes are smaller than other members of the same family, such as wolves, jackals, and domestic dogs. In fact, most foxes are about the size of a cat, and as a result, are the smallest members of the dog family. They have slender,
muzzles, powerful legs, large ears, and long bushy tails. Foxes are not pack animals; they are solitary, opportunistic feeders that hunt live prey (especially rodents) by stealth, cunning and surprise. With great dexterity and a pouncing technique practiced from an early age, they are usually able to kill their prey instantly. Foxes also gather a wide variety of other foods ranging from grasshoppers to fruit and berries. Foxes have a predilection for grapes, though in reality they prefer meat such as rodents and chickens when it is available. Our main camp is deep in the mountains at 1700m of altitude. Over 20 trekking routes ranging from beginner to expert. Over 5 bicycle routes also ranging from beginner to expert. Over 5 4x4 Off‐road routes. Rock climbing. THE OPPORTUNITY TO ADOPT A TREE AND PLANT IT. No fancy food. Only organic and traditional. We can accommodate kids as young as 8.
