Good luck to Reuben Nichols as he prepares to leave the island for the IAAF World Under-18 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya. Reuben is the sole athlete representing Saint Lucia, and he will compete in the boys 400m. Go fast and go hard, Reuben! ππΊπππ₯π±π¨

The St Lucia Athletics Association has selected eight athletes to represent Saint Lucia at the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) Age Group Championships to be held at the Hasely Crawford Stadium Port of Spain, Trinidad on June 17th and 18th.
The said Championship is held every two years for athletes between the ages of 11 and 14. The athletes between the ages of 11-12 compete in the Pentathlon and 13-14 year olds the Heptathlon.
The athletes to represent Saint Lucia are:
Females
11-12: Britney Mangal- Gros Islet Athletics
Sandrina Popo β Gros Islet Athletics
13-14: Natalie Albert- Survivors
Samani Mathurin- Gros Islet Athletics
Males
11-12: Noel Sylvester- Survivors

LEAP Programme Seminar, Monday 29th May to Friday June 2nd, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. 20-25 young adults are needed to participate. They will be trained in the area of Athletics, where they will be taught how to officiate and other skills which relate to Athletics. The facilitator will be travelling from England along with his camera crew. This trained group will be used at the Juvenile Games to culminate their training activity.
*** We need 20-25 young people who are interested and committed. they must NOT be athletes who are presently competing. Names and contact information required ASAP.
