It's the first ever Blind Cricket Stadium around the World that is owned by any Blind Cricket Club. The stadium is constructed at for the Blind by Cricket Club of the Blind, while provided funding for the pitches.
Chairman PBCC and Mr. Vice Chairman PBCC inaugurated the Stadium. Ilyas Ayub is also the President of Azad Kashmir Blind Cricket Club.
On the eve of inauguration, a Blind Cricket match b/w Islamabad and AJK was played, that was won by the hosts AJK Cricket Club of the Blind.
