1) Exploring on a Fat Bike
Fat bikes are very enticing to people who are outdoor explorers. Fat tire bikes provide improved grip and traction on the trickiest of terrain. Regardless if it’s wet stone, muddy paths or meandering hills, these bikes will tread anywhere.

Leaving your bike locked to a pole and going the rest of the way on foot is now history! Fat tires are designed to reduce the overall pressure of the bike and the rider by adding extra contact surface.

Fat bikes are ideal for riding on the softest of sandy beaches, something a regular MTB cannot provide. Fat bikes neither will nor skid on slippery surface.

2. Ride through any weather
Alot of people like a challenge & no weather condition scares them. These bikes are likely to adjust to any weather. They will not slip on wet surface or tarmac. Neither will they sink in mud, proving to be a perfect mode of transport from point A to point B, especially when public transport isn’t an option. Since Fat bikes are heavier than regular MTB bikes it will be more resistible to high winds.

3. Comfortable Rides
Fat tires don’t need to be blown up much, as they give high comfort at low tire pressure. The pressure can go as low as 15 to 10 psi, maybe even lower.

These bikes are known to be rigid & are not equipped with any kind of suspension system. The reason behind no suspension is that suspension is integrated into the tires. You read it right, fat tires become bouncy at lower pressure callus and the elasticity of the rubber helps take in the shocks, increasing the comfort.

4. Low maintenance
As we know that fat tires are rigid, the manufacturers didn’t put a lot of work into the frame of the bike. This means there aren’t a lot of parts that need to be changed. Even though it may cost more than a regular bike, you dont need constant maintenance.
