Incredible humbling & proud moment seeing my cricket bat used by Inoka Ranaweera in yesterday's Sri Lanka Women's match against Pakistan. So thankful for Inoka to represent Staunch- The first and only ICC approved cricket bat manufacturer in Sri Lanka.
This is the first time in 2 years that the Sri Lanka women's cricket team is playing an international series due to the pandemic.
While Staunch isn't functioning at the moment due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, I'm sure in due time it will rise again. Stay tuned.

When COVID changed the entire entrepreneurial landscape governments around the world offered their support to struggling business. But what did the Sri Lankan government do? They used me as a marketing tool to promote their own self interests in polital campaigns they tried to hijack 51% ownership of the the company I had built with my own blood sweat and tears. We refused this offer as we wanted to stay true to our mission of creating a business for the betterment of cricket in Sri Lankan for all Sri Lankans. Angered by this refusal to become another cog in the corruption machine they proved that all support they hinted as a government in easing the raw material imports was merely a deception.
Well what goes around comes around it is time for the Sri Lankan people to throw the greedy and corrupt government out.

2020 has been a tough year for all Sri Lankans, especially school cricket. Part of Staunch's vision is to promote the growth and development of cricket in Sri Lanka. Thats why we spent 3 days travelling to Kandy to donate 50 cricket bats to 5 different schools to make cricket more accessible to all Sri Lankans regardless of socio-economic status.
