Not every leader needs an armband to lead.

During the 2024/25 season, Shanila Dhulshan stepped in as Vice Captain and played a vital role in guiding the team supporting, motivating, and always putting the team first. His commitment, discipline, and willingness to help others made a real difference both on and off the field.

Though he says goodbye to the Vice Captain role this season, his journey with Rajarata Football continues. A player with extraordinary skill, passion, and team spirit, he remains an important part of the squad and the family.

Leadership is not a position… it is a character. And that character will always be part of this team.

Thank you for your dedication and support. The game goes on, and so does the journey.

From standing as Vice Captain in 2023/24 to leading as Captain in 2024/25, Mohomed Haflullah didn’t just lead - he fought, sacrificed, and gave every drop of energy for Rajarata Football.

Every sprint, every tackle, every word of motivation, every moment of belief… he carried the team not only with strength, but with heart.

Today, he steps down from captaincy.
And it’s hard to say goodbye, because leaders like this don’t come often.

But one thing is certain…
A captain may leave the armband, but the legacy, the memories, and the inspiration he gave will stay with Rajarata forever.

Thank you, Captain, for the battles you fought, the pride you carried, and the spirit you built.

The Rajarata University football team has defeated the University of Colombo with a final score of 𝟯-𝟮 in today’s friendly encounter!

We owned the first half with a 𝟮-𝟬 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱. The second half was a battle, but we answered every challenge to emerge victorious.
