Raksagala, also known as Kinihira Kanda, is the second-highest peak in the Dolosbage range in Central Province, Sri Lanka, standing at 1,438 meters (4,718 feet). It is known for its natural beauty and hiking trails, with a history tied to legends such as Ravana's weapons factory. Archaeological evidence suggests worship of the Raksha tribes in the area. It is a notable location for trekking and scenic views.

It is with profound sadness that we inform you of the sudden passing of our JC family member, Mr. Praneeth Jayawardena, beloved younger brother of Chathurika Jayawardena (also a member of our JC family).
The remains are at his residence, 92/19, Mihindu Pedesa, Makumbura, and the funeral will be held tomorrow, 31st August 2025, at Makumbura Cemetery at 5:00 PM. (The remains will leave the residence at 3:30 PM.)
We extend our deepest sympathies to Chathurika and her family during this difficult time. May Praneeth’s journey be peaceful, and may he attain the supreme bliss of Nirvana.
