A special yoga programme was organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India, Colombo, at the Ramakrishna Mission as part of the Curtain Raiser events for the International Day of Yoga 2026.

As part of the Curtain Raiser events for the International Day of Yoga 2026, SVCC, in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga Centre, organized a special wellness programme focused on promoting physical health, mental well-being, and inner harmony through yoga and meditation.
The session featured insightful talks and guided yoga practices, encouraging participants to embrace yoga as a way of life for holistic wellness.

A special Mallakhamb event was organized at One Galle Face Mall, where participants of the 3rd to 6th Mallakhamb workshops were awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication and successful completion of the training programs.
Mam Tanuja Jha graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event celebrated the achievements of the trainees and highlighted the growing popularity of Mallakhamb in Sri Lanka.
The programme was organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India, Colombo, in collaboration with One Galle Face Mall, Creative Koder, Ashtanga Yoga Mandhir, COLIND, Dhanur, and the Vishva Mallakhamb Federation, India. The event brought together students, instructors, and supporters of the traditional Indian sport, fostering cultural exchange and promoting physical fitness, discipline, and well-being through Mallakhamb.
