At the age of 11 his mother was taken away by the
TSunami. At the age of 15 his father passed away, ever since then he was looked after by his grand mother amidst all the difficulties, they had immense financial implications but he kept pursuing his dream to play cricket for his national side someday and with whatever money he could find from playing the game he supported his family and in the year 2012 he got the chance to represent the Sri Lankan Under-19 Cricket team even though his path wasn't that clear to represent the national side the next year he kept fighting for his dream and 9 years later his years of hard work is finally paid off and he's just one step away from making his international cricket debut and that's none other than Pulina Tharanga 💯. We don't need to go looking elsewhere for talented people when the dedicated once are just around our corner.

Wishing Pulina the very best 💯 from here on, onwards and upwards.
