New Kyokushin Karate Class – Rathmalana

We are excited to announce the start of a new Kyokushin Karate class in Rathmalana!

Every Saturday
4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

This is a great opportunity to learn one of the world’s strongest full-contact karate styles and begin your martial arts journey.

Training will be led by Sensei Manjula Preethiviraj (4th Dan), Branch Chief of SBKR Sri Lanka.

From May 29th to 31st, I had the privilege of participating in the All India SBKR Summer Camp and Dan Grading Test held at Mandarmani Beach Resort, near Kolkata, India.

The event was conducted under the guidance and supervision of renowned Japanese Karate Master Shihan Satoshi Yui and the Director of our organization, Shihan Prasanna Pranandu.

During this event, I appeared for the 4th Dan Black Belt grading examination. I must say that this was the most challenging test I have faced in my karate journey so far. After successfully completing this demanding examination, I was honored to be awarded the rank of 4th Dan Black Belt.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude and respect to my beloved instructor, Shihan Prasanna Pranandu, who continuously guided, encouraged, and supported me throughout this journey. His mentorship and dedication have played a significant role in this achievement.

I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation and respect to Shihan Satoshi Yui for dedicating his valuable time to share his knowledge, experience, and expertise with us.

Furthermore, on behalf of SBKR Sri Lanka, I would like to thank Sensei Prithish Mukherjee and the entire organizing committee for successfully arranging such a challenging and valuable event.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who supported, encouraged, and wished me well throughout this journey. Your kindness and support have been greatly appreciated.
