NSBM Power Lifting

It is a great pleasure to inform that the NSBM Powerlifting achieved 3 Gold Medals in the All-Island Powerlifting Meet Organized by the Shakthi Powerlifting Club which was held in Sunday, 11th August 2019.

We successfully achieved 1st Place in the
Sub-Junior Category 74 Weight Class
Junior Category 74 Weight Class
Junior Category 93 Weight Class

Uvindu Jayasinghe participated for the Commonwealth Trails which was held in 6th July 2019, with the qualifying weight being 532.5kg, He successfully attempted to score a total weight of 555kg. He is now representing Sri Lanka in Commonwealth Games 2019 which is to be held in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada on 10th September 2019.
