Our journey began in 1956 when a small group of foreign-qualified architects founded the Ceylon Institute of Architects (CIA) after several meetings to draft a constitution. This original group also held membership with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). What a finale!
We closed the curtains on ARCHITECT 2026 with the legendary sounds of Misty!
The energy at the BMICH was absolutely electric, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate three days of innovation, inspiration, and community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to Transform, Transcend, and Thrive. The exhibition may be over, but the connections and ideas formed here will last long after the music fades.
