The final match of Gold Cup/ Silver Cup Foodball Tournament organized by the Galle Football League was held successfully in Galle on the 6th June 2022 with the participation of the President of Football Federation of Sri Lanka. Mr. Jaswar Umar. The Siver CupTournament was won by Galle FC Sports Club while the Katugoda United Sports Club secured the Runners-up. The Gold Cup Tournament was won by Dedella Gamini Sports Club by 3-1 over Rathgama Red Robbins Sports Club.

This tournament was held with the participation of the President of the Sri Lanka Football Federation Mr. Jaswar Umar, President of the Galle Football League Mr. Dulshan Nagahawatta, the Secretary Mr. Manjula Kumarawadu, the Treasurer Mr. M. M. Mushtaq and a large gathering of spectators.
