Kentaro CC delivered a commanding performance to secure a 48-run victory over Katugasthota Youth SC in a thrilling 40-over friendly encounter.
Batting first, Kentaro CC posted a strong total of 241 all out in 39 overs. The innings was brilliantly anchored by Susantha Kumara, who played a magnificent knock of 128 runs off 101 balls, leading from the front with confidence and class.
He was well supported by:
• Mukbil Sinan – 50 (51 balls)
• Mohamed Rikas – 23 (24 balls)
• Nishantha Bandara – 6 (20 balls)
In reply, Katugasthota Youth SC managed 193 all out in 32.3 overs despite a fighting 84 (62 balls) from Mohamed Askar.
Kentaro’s bowlers ensured control throughout the innings with disciplined spells:
