Not only is he the youngest Asian appointed to the Federation of International Basketball (FIBA), - he was just 32 - here he is last night at the Paris Olympics Basketball Finals between USA and France 🇱🇰

We're proud of you on being appointed as FIBA Technical Delegate/Commissioner for the Men and Women Basketball Tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games!

A well known basketball personalty, Yaswanth Muttettuwegama did Sri Lanka proud by becoming the youngest Asian to be appointed as a FIBA Technical Delegate in 2017.

Yaswanth, at 32, was the youngest appointee among 20 Asian Technical Delegates appointed by the world basketball governing body at the time.

He studied at S. Thomas' College, Mount - and went on to Cardiff Metropolitan University International.
