That growth isn’t just a statistic; it’s a testament to the strength, skill, and welcoming culture of this sport. It’s a sentiment we hear echoed every time we speak with women in the field - the range is a place where they feel empowered and supported.

Throughout March, we’re proud to shine a light on the women of Beretta Australia. From sponsored shooters to ambassadors and partners, these women have shown that they love their sport and want to continue to see a growth in the number of women on the range.

Silver medal for Umaya at Asian Championship in 10m Air Rifle Women Youth

Sri Lanka’s Umaya Kumarasiri snatched the silver medal of the 10m Air Rifle Women Youth event, at the Asian Rifle / Pistol Championship, currently underway in New Delhi, India.

Sri Lanka Junior Women claim Bronze medal at Asian Rifle / Pistol Championship

Team Sri Lanka, comprising Sinadi Kodikara, Reinya Ranasinghe and Fathima Nuha Rahuman, won the bronze medal of the 10m Air Pistol Women Junior Team event, at the Asian Rifle / Pistol Championship, currently underway in New Delhi, India.

Sri Lanka Junior Women grossed 1631-27x to finish third and claim the bronze medal, while India claimed the gold medal, followed by Kazakhstan, who settled in for the silver medal.

The gold-medal winning Indian Junior Women team included Vanshika Chaudhary, Rashmika Sahgal and Agam Grewal, while Assylym Zhakiya, Alissa Kradenova and Dilara Vakhitova took Kazakhstan to a silver-medal finish.
