So, here’s a little introduction.

Kaveesha Liyanaarachchi is currently playing at U23 Premier Club level. Last month, he also had the opportunity to play two practice matches with the Sri Lanka Emerging team.

At the moment, he is bowling around 138 km/h, and he continues to develop under the guidance of some of Sri Lanka’s leading coaches.

From Kauwwa’s side, thank you to everyone for the advice, encouragement and support. ❤️

ST. THOMAS’ COLLEGE MATALE U15 B TEAM CONTINUES WINNING RUN

St. Thomas’ College Matale Under-15 B Team continued their outstanding form by recording their third consecutive victory in the SLSCA Division III Tournament with an impressive performance against Galewela Central College.

Winning the toss and putting in a disciplined team effort, the Thomians displayed their strength in both batting and bowling to secure another well-deserved victory, extending their unbeaten run and strengthening their position at the top of the points table.

Captain Chaluka Denuwan once again led from the front with a remarkable all-round performance. He top-scored with 32 runs in the first innings and produced a match-winning spell with the ball, claiming 3 wickets for 25 runs. His leadership, determination, and consistency played a vital role in guiding the team to another memorable victory.

The bowling unit received excellent support from Mihisara Dewmin (5 wickets) and Dinuka Dilshan (3 wickets), who dismantled the Galewela batting lineup with disciplined bowling. The batting effort was further strengthened by Esandu Udameth, who remained unbeaten on 16.

With three matches, three victories, and an unbeaten record, the St. Thomas’ College Matale U15 B Team proudly sits at the top of the tournament standings. The team’s unity, discipline, and commitment continue to reflect the true Thomian spirit.
