🐴✨ HORSE CAMP KIDDIES! ✨🐴

An evening of fun, friendship and HORSEYS! 🥰

Our little riders spent the evening playing with the horses, learning all about them, building confidence and, of course, riding! 🏇💚

From grooming and groundwork to saddle time, every moment was about learning, connecting and having fun with our four-legged friends. 🐴✨

Horses dream too. 🐴💭

Third World was an amazing racehorse who dominated the track during his racing days. He later retired to our stable, where he became a much-loved kids’ riding horse and an occasional carriage horse.

Whenever we laid down fresh sawdust, Third World seemed to have the most vivid dreams. He would lie there completely immersed in them—sometimes twitching, moving his legs, and looking utterly confused when he finally woke up. 😂

Perhaps he was back on the racetrack, reliving his glory days.

Third World has since left us, from natural causes, but we still miss this amazing horsey terribly. ❤️

Some horses leave hoofprints on the ground. Others leave them on your heart.

And some, we like to imagine, are still running in their dreams. 🐎💭❤️

The muddy days, early mornings, long hours, and everything in between suddenly feel so worth it when moments like these come along. 🌈☀️

“Smell Me!” 🐴👃

To a horse, your smell is basically an ID card, mood ring and social media profile — all rolled into one!

Horses have an incredible sense of smell and use it to gather information about the world around them. They can recognise familiar people and horses, investigate new scents, and notice changes in their environment.

That’s why you’ll often see our coaches offering their hands for the horse to sniff. And it doesn’t stop there — anything we approach a horse with, we allow them to smell first. Brushes, equipment, clothing, new objects… if it’s coming into their space, they get a chance to investigate it.

It’s our horses’ way of saying, “Okay… what’s that, and should I be worried about it?” 😂

So before we ask a horse to accept something, we give them a moment to smell, process and understand it.

Their version of a handshake? A good sniff. 🐴👃

Winter Birthday Shoots

There’s something almost indescribable about the relationship we have with horses. They have a way of taking our dreams, our fears, our insecurities and our hopes—and holding up a mirror to them.

They teach us patience when we want to rush, courage when we are afraid, humility when our ego gets in the way, and trust when we desperately want control.

And somehow, in that quiet connection between horse and human, they make us face truths about ourselves that we might otherwise spend a lifetime avoiding.

Horses really are magic. 🐴❤️ magic

Horse Camp at the stables is always pretty special! 🐴💚

From horse-care games and Jeopardy to theory sessions, mounted games and plenty of hands-on learning — there’s always something happening! 🤠🏇

It’s not just about riding; it’s about learning to care for, understand and build a partnership with our horses. ❤️
