𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐎 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐙 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐋

We're already preparing for the 2026/2027 League Season and our model has changed. Every player at Zion Football Club next season will have to earn and to maintain their spot at the club. There will be no sympathy, tolerance or acceptance of recommendations.

Players recommended to the clubs by associates were one of the major reasons we didn't achieve our goals this season.

Officials and Players will work for the badge, and must understand that the club is supreme.

At the moment, we are reviewing our present squad. Some players will be released or asked to find another club for boycotting league matches, poor performances, little or zero impact, inconsistency, inexperience, and indiscipline. For some players, we will let them leave to redirect resources elsewhere.

We will stick with others that continue to do their best and give their best.

Our defeat to Jamin Football Club was a major blow in our campaign this season. Our focus now is to end the season and see what happens.

We now have to correct our wrongs, fill in the gaps at positions where we were let down by players we had signed and old players we had put our trust in.

Presently, facing Nimba FC on Saturday is our immediate focus.

Our weekend fixture is the return leg against our next-door neighbor, Laurita Football Club, of Lower Careysburg. The first leg ended 𝟏 - 𝟏, and we are looking forward to grabbing all 3points this time.

The difference between 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 and 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 is "𝐓", which means 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄.

Goal machine, 𝐀𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐆𝐢𝐛𝐬𝐨𝐧, aka Benzema, scored 15 goals for the club last season, making it possible for the club to win the 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐀 𝐂𝐮𝐩 and to qualify for the Montserrado Sub- Association 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐟𝐟 . Abednego Gibson ended the season as the League's 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 and the 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐫.

On the left side of the attack was 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐃. 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞, aka 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐚, whose speed, pace, and shot power kept the opponents' defenders busy until the final whistle of the match. Leon won four (4) 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 Awards and scored five (5) goals for the club in all competitions.

Both skippers currently play in the LFA Second Division League, with Abednego at Shaita Football Club and Leon Payne at Cece United Football Academy.

We earned a 𝟒 - 𝟒 draw against the defending champion, Fendell United Football Club. We conceded 2 early goals before youngster 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐞 netted his first official goal for the Club to make the score 2 - 1 before half time.

During the second half, 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧 leveled the scores to 2 - 2, but Fendell United took advantage of some miscalculations to regain and to extend their lead to 4 - 2. Midfield maestro, 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐞, got a goal to make the score 4 -3 before debutant, 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐨𝐥𝐨, found the back of the net in the dying minutes of the match to level the score to 4 -4.

We are still determined and focused on our remaining fixtures ahead.

Left back 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 will miss this Saturday's League Match against last season's champion 𝐅𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝. The skipper received a direct 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 during the last weekend encounter against LEAD MFA.

𝐎𝐥𝐮 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 has been recalled to the squad, and new signing 𝐃𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲𝐛𝐨𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐞 has also been shortlisted for Saturday's match against Fendell United.

𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐅 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤, who found the back of the net on his debut match against LEAD MFA vowed to win the Mount Carey Sub Committee Golden Boot for the 2025/2026 League season.

Fred came off the bench to open the scoring from within the 6 yard, but shortly afterwards, LEAD MFA equalized before fellow new signing
𝐋𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐬 scored the winning goal to grab all three points for the Club.
