Jonathan Pierce writes👇👇👇
"FORMER FREEMASON WARNS: “DON’T DO IT… RUN.”
I don’t usually post about Freemasonry. However, this testimony caught my attention, and I’m curious to hear from Christian men who are part of this organization.
How do you understand your involvement through Scripture? What is your biblical understanding of its practices, oaths, and teachings?
A former law-enforcement officer who says he became a Master Mason is now publicly warning others to stay away.
In his testimony, he describes being blindfolded, taking oaths of secrecy, and participating in ceremonies that simulated his own death. He says what initially appeared to be a respectable brotherhood became spiritually darker the deeper he went.
These are his claims about his experience. I’m sharing them as his testimony, and I want to hear thoughtful responses from men with firsthand knowledge.
His warning? “STAY FAR AWAY… RUN.”
What does he credit for bringing him out?
“What got me out was God’s loving grace and mercy.”
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” — Ephesians 5:11, KJV
As a Christian, here is where I stand: Every affiliation, oath, and tradition must be examined in the light of God’s Word. That applies to all of us and whatever we belong to.
“Daddy was part of it” or “We do good things in the community” may explain your connection, but my question is about its biblical foundation. What Scriptures guide your position?
I’m not claiming that one man’s testimony tells every member’s story. I am asking whether we’re willing to examine what we practice with the same conviction we use to defend it.
Christian men who are current or former Freemasons, I want to hear from you. How do you reconcile your experience in the organization with your commitment to Jesus Christ?
Let’s keep it respectful, honest, and grounded in Scripture. I’m interested in understanding your position, not having a comment-section shouting match."
