Royal Star edged Mamba FC to secure their first win in the opening match of the just-kicked-off Bragging Rights Championship Cup at Baptist Field today, following a goalless first half.

A late second-half strike from Gabriel Z. Gou proved decisive, earning Royal Star all three points as they began their campaign on a strong note.

Royal Star and Mamba FC are paired in Group B alongside Duceya and Club Kosuno.
