With a squad filled with dedicated and talented players, coupled with the guidance of an experienced coaching staff, and former Greenville Professional FC coach Veteran Dennis N. Koon Secretary General of the Dugbe River District Sports Steering Committee Dugbe River District says it is fully set and ready for all matches in the upcoming tournament.

Team officials and supporters remain confident that the district has what it takes to challenge every opponent and make a strong impact throughout the competition. The team has intensified preparations ahead of the kickoff, with players showing commitment, discipline, and unity during training sessions.

Football fans across Sinoe County are already expressing excitement as Dugbe River District enters the tournament as one of the teams expected to make a serious run for the championship.

As anticipation continues to build, supporters are rallying behind the team with hopes that Dugbe River District will emerge victorious and proudly lift the 2025/26 District League trophy.

Match Day 30 was chaos, and when the dust settled, these 4 are heading to the First Division:

1. District 17 Football Academy – Champions
Sealed it with a clean 2-0 win over Wein Town United. 54 points, top spot, no debate. They were the team to beat all season, and they proved it.

2. Shiata FC – Straight back up
Got relegated last year and didn’t waste time. 3-1 win over NPA Anchor locked promotion with 53 points. Immediate comeback, zero messing around.

3. Golden Dream – History made
Only here for a minute, and they’re already out. Thrashed Gomba FC 5-0 and grabbed a promotion with 51 points. Newcomers came in, proved a point, and left their mark.

4. NPA Anchor – The Port Boys bounce back
Lost 3-1 to Shiata on the day, but their season did the talking. 50 points was enough to get them promoted. Tough loss, but the job was already done.

Four teams, four different stories, same result: First Division football next season.

They came into the final day needing it done, and they did it cold 2-0 over Wein Town United. No drama, just straight-up champions of the LFA Second Division.

Other teams were hoping for a slip. District 17 said “not today” and handled business.
