A HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS & THANK YOU NOTE:
The Borough of Kru Town 28 Communities Tournament 2026 has come to a successful conclusion, and we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Central New Kru Town Community, our 2026 Champions, and Fundaye Community, the Runner-Up.
To the 18 communities that participated, thank you for your commitment, sportsmanship, passion, and determination throughout the tournament. You all contributed to making this competition a memorable one.
To the remaining 10 communities that were unable to participate this year, we want you to know that you remain an important part of the Borough of Kru Town family. We sincerely hope to see you join us in the next edition. Your participation will make the tournament even bigger, stronger, and more inclusive. The door is always open, and we look forward to having all 28 communities together in our next edition.
A very big thank you to Mr. Chris Weah, CEO of Cabana Hotel, and Hon. Samuel Weah of the Borough of Kru Town, for their generous financial support, which played a significant role in making this tournament a successful one.
We also deeply appreciate Governor Hon Robert B Teah and his team for their continued support and encouragement throughout the tournament. Special thanks to Hon. Dixon Seboe Representative of District #16, for his support and commitment to our community and young people.
It would be unfair not to recognize tremendous contribution of Mr. Alphonsus Wiah CKA SUPER 7, CEO of The People's Online TV -2 and his team, for providing live coverage of our tournament and bringing the excitement of our matches to a wider audience. Mr. Wiah went above and beyond by providing cash prizes to our Man of the Match awardees, as well as soccer boots for the Tournament MVP and the Borough of Kru Town Best Player. Your generosity and commitment to youth football and community sports are deeply appreciated.
We would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to all the security officers (AFL and The Police) who worked tirelessly throughout the tournament. From the opening day through the grand final, you maintained order, discipline, safety, and security at our matches. Your professionalism, dedication, and commitment did not go unnoticed. You worked behind the scenes to ensure that players, officials, fans, and visitors could enjoy the tournament in a safe environment. Thank you so kindly for a job well done!
Finally, a very special thank you to all our fans and supporters. Your energy, passion, encouragement, and presence throughout the tournament made every match memorable. You were absolutely amazing! The tournament may be over, but the memories, friendships, unity, and community spirit will remain with us.
🏆 Congratulations to our Champions, Central New Kru Town Community!
🥈 Congratulations to our Runner-Up, Fundaye Community!
