Monsterrado United reaches FA Cup Final

Monsterrado United has booked their place in the 2026 ELWA FA Cup final after a dominant 4-0 victory over fourth division side Regent Club Boys following a goalless first half at the SKD Practice Pitch.

The victory means Monsterrado United will now face another fourth division outfit, Cotton Tree Defenders, in the grand final.

Cotton Tree Defenders secured their place in the final after a convincing 3-1 win over experienced side Anointed Star.

The 2026 ELWA FA Cup final is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the SKD Practice Pitch in Paynesville, with kickoff set for 3:30 PM.

Gleplay Ends Successful League Season on a High Note

The 2025/26 Paynesville Subcommittee Third Division League officially came to an end on Sunday, May 24, 2026, following months of exciting football action at the Barker Fence Sports Pitch in Soul Clinic.

Under the leadership of chairman Victor Gleplay, the league experienced a competitive and well-organized season that brought together several clubs fighting for promotion and local glory. Fans throughout the campaign witnessed thrilling encounters, dramatic moments, and outstanding individual performances from players across the division.

At the end of the season, Todd FC emerged as champions after an impressive run throughout the campaign. Amazing FC secured second place, while Blackman Warriors II finished third on the league table.

The three clubs have now successfully qualified to represent the Paynesville Subcommittee in the upcoming 2026 Monsterrado Third Division Play-Off, where they will battle for promotion opportunities against top teams from other subcommittees.

Speaking following the conclusion of the season, many football followers praised chairman Victor Gleplay and his administration for ensuring a smooth and successful league campaign despite several challenges.

With the season now concluded, attention turns to the Monsterrado Third Division Play-Off as Todd FC, Amazing FC, and Blackman Warriors II prepare to carry the hopes of Paynesville football fans.

Shaita Angels FC announce that adjustments have been made to the club’s remaining two fixtures of the 2025/26 season.

The Women’s First Division League final match against Determine Girls has been moved from May 27, 2026 to June 3, 2026. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM at the Tusa Field.

The Orange Cup final against World Girls has also been rescheduled from May 31, 2026 to June 7, 2026, with kickoff at 1:00 PM at the SKD Mini Stadium.

The postponements are due to the ongoing appeal proceedings involving case files filed against Shaita Angels by Determine Girls and World Girls.
