Liberia Young Promising midfielder Oneal Taylor made his fifth start of the season for Columbus Crew II in their 2-0 win over Philadelphia Union II in MLS Next Pro on Saturday night.

It was the 17-year-old’s 13th appearance of the campaign, and he has so far contributed one goal and one assist.

Kandakai FC head coach Zico Dorley has been handed a new role.

Dorley has been named Head Coach of Bomi County for this year’s edition of the National County Sports Meet.

The experienced tactician will now take charge of Bomi as they prepare to compete against the other 14 counties in Liberia’s biggest grassroots tournament.

Dorley, who currently leads Kandakai FC, brings club-level expertise to the county side.

His appointment is expected to boost Bomi’s chances as they aim to make a deep run in this year’s competition.

FULL TIME: West Ham All Star 2-0 Atlanta All Star

West Ham All Star got their league campaign off to a perfect start in Caldwell with a convincing 2-0 win over Atlanta All Star in the opening match.

The goals came from Melvin Sando Jr. and defender F. Anthony Kamara. Kamara was outstanding on the day, contributing at both ends — he scored one goal and also registered an assist. His performance showed the value of having defenders who can impact the game going forward.

Abraham Massaley also impressed in midfield, picking up an assist to help West Ham control the game.

It was a complete team effort that set the tone early in the league. With 3 points in the bag, West Ham All Star will be looking to carry this momentum into their next fixture.

Former Real Muja FC midfielder Jessica Quchie has taken the next step in her career after completing a move to Maltese women's football powerhouse Swieqi United FC.

She has signed a two-year contract with the club.

Fassell appoint Spain’s Vicente Parras ahead of new season

FC Fassell are gearing up for the new season with the appointment of Spanish coach Vicente Parras.

Parras arrives early this morning in Liberia and an elaborate ceremony is being planned to unveil him this week.

The 50-year-old, who holds a Uefa Pro License, has been coaching several academies for more than 30 years.

The peak of his career was serving as coach of Elche in 2017 in Spain’s La Liga, having coached the youth team from 2010-2012 and assistant to Elche B from 2012-2015.

Although owner and chief patron Cassell Anthony Kuoh has been expelled from all football activities for life by a heartless grievance and disciplinary committee of the Liberia Football Association, Kuoh’s passion for football can’t be questioned and is unmatched.

“Even if it means I will be watching Fassell and football games right in Liberia on television, nobody will kill my love and passion for Liberian football and my desire to see it grows and improves,” Kuoh told our reporter.

Although Bea Mountain are regarded as the billionaire’s club with huge investments and big signings, anyone counting Fassell out of the title race is doing so at their own peril.
