The Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) has revealed plans to introduce 26 yellow machinery units into the nation by January 2026, aiming to advance its development agenda and foster community revitalization through tangible progress nationwide.
CMC political head, Representative Musa Hassan Bility, emphasized that ahead of the 2029 elections, the party intends to have significant legacy projects established in every county to demonstrate its commitment.
“CMC is a dedicated political organization; we speak with purpose and act accordingly. We are committed to fulfilling our promises,” Bility stated. “Liberia’s redemption is overdue.”
Recently, the Ministry of Public Works rejected CMC’s proposal to build a state-of-the-art bridge in Gbarnga, B**g County. However, Bility remains undeterred, asserting that the party is motivated to pursue additional development initiatives across Liberia despite setbacks.

Ruling Party Chairman Luther Tarpeh, describes opposition as certified hypocrites for Praising Foreign Minister and Not President Boakai for the new visa deal…
“It behooves me when Liberian opposition bloc simply refused to acknowledge the remarkable leadership President Boakai played in securing the U.S. visa extension deal with the U.S. government and restoring international confidence in Liberia once again.
It is hypocritical to sing praise to Madam Beslow and not even have the courtesy to thank the President who appointed her to lead our foreign mission. At what point will political actors especially those in opposition differentiate between patriotic gestures and malicious political jamboree?
Anyway, thank you President Joseph N. Boakai Sr. for your great leadership in this regard and thank you Madam Beslow for your diplomatic astuteness. From now on I don't have to go the U.S embassy to renew my visa every year. I will go there after three years. JNB, YOU ARE STRONG!!!”

Today, I extend my sincere appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for her remarkable display of professionalism, focus, and patriotism that contributed to the restoration of Liberia’s visa status to its prewar level by the Government of the United States of America.
This development is a reflection of the quiet but consistent work of the Minister and her team, carried out with discipline and national commitment. Despite distractions and internal challenges, she has stayed the course, representing Liberia’s interests with clarity and conviction.
I also recognize the support and cooperation of the Government of Liberia under the leadership of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, whose endorsement of this diplomatic process helped bring this outcome to fruition. Effective diplomacy requires collective will, and this result is evidence of coordination between leadership and professionalism at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
To the Government and people of the United States, I extend profound appreciation for this forward looking decision and for their continued partnership with the people of Liberia. The restoration of Liberia’s visa status to its prewar level represents renewed confidence in the Liberian people, our democratic institutions, and our potential for growth and stability.
This moment is not a political triumph; it is a national milestone. It underscores the importance of competence, credibility, and patriotism in governance and foreign relations. When leadership is exercised with sincerity and focus, from the highest office to the technical level, Liberia earns respect.
As a people, we must take pride in this progress and be reminded that real achievements come through teamwork, integrity, and sustained national effort. The Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) celebrates this as an example of what is possible when public service is guided by commitment to country rather than politics.

President Boakai has officially honored and retired several dedicated long-serving members of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) in recognition of their loyal service to the nation.
Among those retired is W.O. Girley L. Merchant, who led the AFL Band Unit from July 2006 to October 2025.
Known affectionately as the “Action Lady,” W.O. Merchant earned widespread admiration for her energetic leadership and commanding presence during parades and ceremonial marches. Her lively and disciplined style became a source of pride within the force.
As she concluded nearly two decades of service and bid farewell to the AFL, W.O. Merchant was visibly emotional, reflecting the strong bonds she built with her colleagues and her deep commitment to the institution she served faithfully.
The retirees received over US$30,000 as part of their retirement package, in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the Republic of Liberia.
Thank you, Mama Merchant, for serving Liberia with honor, discipline, and pride through the Armed Forces of Liberia. 🇱🇷🙏

The Court has ordered the eviction of CDC and instructed the Police to help with the eviction.
We advise that the Police appeal to the Army to help them with the process
No one has the right to forcefully own another person's property.
Even if u had a lease agreement for 30 years, the owner has the right to terminate the contract.
If it's before the 30 years, the owner will be penalized.
And if it's after 30 years, the owner has the full right to refuse an extension.
To even have the audacity to take the owner to court is way beyond a witch hunt, that witchcraft and criminality.
Two times UP were evicted from their Party HQ, and they never refused or took the property owner to court.
CDC is in opposition and still hijacking someone's property. Imagine when they come back in 2029?
The entire country will be hijacked!
