11 Killed, Six Injured in Two B**g County Road Crashes

Eleven people have been killed and six others injured in two separate road crashes in B**g County, the Liberia National Police (LNP) has confirmed.

The first crash occurred on Saturday, August 22, near the Barboo Worms Factory along the Suakoko-Gbondoi Highway, involving a yellow Toyota taxi and a grey Toyota Camry.

Eight people, six males and two females, including both drivers—died in the crash. Both vehicles were extensively damaged.

The second crash occurred on Sunday, August 23, in Mazinsu along the Weala-Salala route. It involved a Kia vehicle, a trailer and a truck, leaving three women dead and six others injured. Two of the injured victims are reportedly in critical condition.

The LNP says investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding both crashes.

Police have urged motorists to exercise caution, obey traffic regulations and drive responsibly.
