We are glad to be the host for SALESIAN YOUTH MOVEMENT-Liberia National Forum for 2025.
We are currently hosting 100 plus youth from the three Salesian communities in Liberia (8th Street, Madati & Tappita). Today was the first formal day and indeed it was a joyfull day of Thanksgiving and praise.

The DON BOSCO BRIGHTER FUTURE VOCATIONAL & SKILLS TRAINING CENTER presents its second batch of training at the St. Francis Catholic High School

We are offering the following courses for six months:
☆Tailoring & Fashion Designs
☆ Computer (InformationCommunication Technology) ICT
☆ Catering: Food and Nutrition
☆ Interior & Event Decorations
☆ Soap Making & Tie/Dye
☆ Solar Installation (coming in January)

EASTER CONTINUES CHARITY
Over the weekend we've been working and trying to complete our Easter Charity.

Saturday morning we visited the Tappita police station as has been our tradition to clean the prison cells, offices and the police station surroundings.
We met with the inmates, have a talk with them and provided food for them and was also able to negotiate and free those who committed minor crimes and needed to be free.

On Sunday, which was yesterday, we went from door-to-door to selected people, to visit and gave them some food items, clothing and soap for their daily needs.

Appreciation goes to our Youth Director, Fr. Joseph P**c Dang, SDB who has been the brain behind this and all our Animators who dedicated their time and resources to our just ended Charity program.

REJOICE! HE IS RISEN!
This is one of the best times of year to look at your life and all that you have to be grateful for. We are saved from sin and death!
Easter is always a good reminder that everything is grace. In an age of entitlement, it is easy to forget that the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the life we have are all incredible graces from God. Taking time to pray in thanksgiving for the graces in our life is often a practice that keeps us aware of what we have and gives us a disposition of gratitude and joy.

This account of His last days recalls the first days of His ministry, when He walked along the shore of the Sea of Galilee and called His first disciples.

He began with two simple words, and they remain today a clear summary of what it means to be Catholic. These two words encompass everything you need to know about your faith and how to live it well.

Jesus looks at each person and simply says, “𝙁𝙊𝙇𝙇𝙊𝙒 𝙈𝙀.” …What else do you need to know? That is the whole summary of our faith. In every moment of your life, at home, work, or school, you must seek only to follow the example and teachings of Our Lord.

Today, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 - We the youth from the Don Bosco Youth Center - Tappita went to the usual Wednesday market to generate funds for our Easter program.
We are in the Lenten season and almsgivings is one of the pillars of Lent. Money generated will be used to support the aged, sick, and in need, we will also feed our brothers and sisters in prison and bill those who are billable.
