Seasons greetings.
Dear supporters and Friends of the page.
As 2024 draws to a close, it is with immense gratitude and admiration that we reflect on the unwavering support that you have shown towards advancing chess in Lesotho. It is in this regard that we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for your support.
In the course of 2024, our chess program has produced many beginner chess players which in turn instigated the promotion of the game nationally.
As we bid farewell to this year and welcome the new one, let us remember that our journey in the coming year is not merely about tournaments and championships; It is also about how to extract important lessons from chess that we can use in other aspects of life in order to become somewhat a generation of respectable human beings.
Merry Christmas and Happy 2025.

One of the beautiful things about exploring chess more deeply is that you will begin to notice the thematic parallels between what is happening on the board and what is happening off the board.
If you register your kids with our academy, it will open their receptors to these connections and speed up their chess growth. In turn, this will most importantly help them to use chess to take on broader life issues.
During a small inhouse tournament that we recently concluded in one school, we learned among many important topics, about the importance of patience and being calm. This is relatively important for every human being. We learned also about the importance of winning and losing.
The kids have to know that smashing into walls is also part of life and what they must have is a get-back-on-the-horse mentality.
