This is the only woman boxer who brought a medal in AUSC Region 5 Games.
The first medal for the country in women boxing… she was registered in 57 Kg but ended up fighting 60 Kg.
The boxer who never thought of entering the ring is having boxing as one of her priorities….
Congrats Reyah Segoete aka Sthola

Reyah Segoete the only woman boxer left from Lesotho and will be competing against the host (Namibia) later today.
She joined boxing by chance and never thought of competing, ABA heard her and designed a non-contact session for her, and she ended up falling in love with it.
Do not push athletes to compete when they are not ready, listen to them and understand what they want, then create a conducive environment and help them enjoy sport just like another person.
There she is now representing her country and in international events.
We wish you nothing but the best, go and have!!!

She almost missed the games, and so is the flight…
She is the only athlete flying to Namibia from Lesotho.
We wish you nothing but the best!!!

It’s one of the most import days…International Day of Sport for Development and Peace!!!
You don’t need to practice a competitive sport to be active and make a positive impact in your community!!!
