We are pleased to introduce Gael Velasco as the new Head Coach of Badminton Differdange. 🏸

Originally from France, Gael brings many years of experience in competitive and club badminton. Throughout his coaching career, he has worked with renowned and successful clubs and badminton structures in France.

With his expertise, experience and passion for badminton, Gael will play an important role in the sporting development of our club and support our players in their continued progression.

His appointment marks another important step in the sporting development of Badminton Déifferdeng.

The logo of my first club caught my attention on a flyer. I liked it, decided to give badminton a try — and I never stopped. 😄

He Jiting — I really admire his style of play and the way he approaches the game.

Zoé has been part of our club since 2013, starting her badminton journey in the youth ranks of BC Differdange. Today, she is the current No. 1 in Mixed Doubles in Luxembourg, a National Champion 🏆 and a member of the Luxembourg National Team 🇱🇺.

From one of our young players to competing at the highest level — Zoé is a true example of what hard work, dedication and ambition can achieve. 💪🔥

2013 — my first club🖤

I went to a training session together with my brother. I immediately enjoyed it, so I decided to stay🏸

👀 What would you tell your younger self when you first started playing?

“Be confident and never give up on yourself.”

Joy and relief🏆

My routines and my partner.

🏸 How did you start playing badminton?
It all started with playing badminton with her grandfather in the garden at home. After looking for a suitable sport, her badminton journey began at BC Differdange at the age of 9. 🖤

From playing in the garden with her grandfather to joining the 1st Team at just 14 — and this is only the beginning. 🚀

We are proud to see our young players grow through the club and take the next step into our 1st Team. 🖤🏸
