REIMS 4 – 5 PUCKERS 💪
The Puckers Spirit was flying high on the road as the boys kicked off the season in style with a hard-fought 5–4 victory over Reims! Puckers starting lineup had an average age of 46 Years versus a Reims line up of 31 years average age.
This one had everything: early dominance, big goals, penalty-kill heroics, a dramatic comeback from the opposition, and a game-winning backhander worthy of the big screen! 🎬🍿
🔥 FIRST PERIOD: PUCKERS SET THE TONE!
The Puckers came out flying and took a commanding 2–0 lead with two quality finishes!
🚨 Anton HNYLYTSKYI (Антон Гнилицкий ) opened his Puckers career in style, beginning what would be an outstanding debut performance.

💥 SECOND PERIOD: TRADING BLOWS!
Reims found the net to cut the lead to 2–1, but the Puckers had an answer!
🚨🚨 Michael MEKHAEEL (Mike Puckers ) found the back of the net with a clap bomb before Anton HNYLYTSKYI struck again to restore the two-goal advantage.
Reims managed to squeeze in a flukey deflected knuckle puck goal, but the Puckers still headed into the third with a precious 4–2 lead!
⚡ THIRD PERIOD: DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA!
Three penalties put the Puckers under serious pressure. The penalty killers were brilliant on the first kill, but Reims capitalised on two power plays to claw their way back to 4–4.

But the Puckers had one more trick up their sleeves…
🚨🥅 NICK “MAURICE” AUBIN WITH THE GAME WINNER!
Just when it mattered most, Nick “Maurice” AUBIN (Nick Au) unleashed his patented VICIOUS backhander into the upper half of the net to bury the game winner! 🔥
