I have just guided a beautiful and deeply transformative retreat in Malaga, and now I have returned to Luxembourg with a heart full of gratitude.
Hidden in the mountains of Andalusia, far away from the noise and rush of everyday life, 30 beautiful souls came together to meditate, practice Kundalini Yoga, breathe, chant mantras, and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.
“Meeting Your Soul” — the third retreat I have guided in Malaga — became a space for inner stillness, healing, connection, and transformation.

Kundalini Yoga is a powerful tool for living in health, peace, and joy.
It is not just movement or stretching.
It is a practice that activates the whole system - body, mind, and nervous system.
I am 47 years old, and I have three grown children. For the past ten years, I have called Luxembourg my home. It was here that Kundalini Yoga came into my life as a tool to help me settle into a new country, new languages…
Through breath, movement, meditation, and mantra, we:
release stress
balance hormones
strengthen the nervous system
and return to our true essence
Kundalini Yoga does not help you become someone else,
but rather remove everything that prevents you from being yourself.
It teaches:

FROM CELLS TO SOUL
I've lately noticed on my social media that I have new followers. Some of you may know me already, and some of you are here just by coincidence. Although I say, there are no coincidences in life 🙂
That's exactly how it wasn't a coincidence that I boarded a plain to Luxembourg back in 2016.
My name is Maya but I also have a spiritual/yogic name Jai Namdhan.
I am Kundalini yoga teacher, Beauty Therapist and Health practitioner.
Over many years my passion has been learning about Mind, Body and Soul - how can people live truly fulfilled lives with good energy levels, with joy of life, and aging with wisdom and not fear.
I am 44 years old, and I have 3 grown up children. I know what it feels like to go through all women's roles. I know what it feels like trying to combine housewife's duties with money earning job. I also know what it feels like when the scales show 90kg, tears running down the cheeks... without slightest idea what and how to do next. I have had panic attacks, toxic relationship and feeling that "I do not exist ", that life is somewhere out there...
I attained Beauty Therapy and Health Practitioner's diploma from CIDESCO International school. Whilst writing the course project in 2014, I came across yoga philosophy, and that was the beginning of my journey from cells to soul. Later I became Kundalini Yoga Teacher.
I do online (and offline) Kuundalini yoga classes for adults and kids, and give private consultations in Ta***ic Numerology.
I embrace the fact that the knowledge and experience I have gained over the years complements and harmonises one another.

Mantras
Part of the Kundalini practice is to chant mantras or positive affirmations. Often, these mantras are chanted in Gurmukhi, though they are also sometimes spoken in English. Some of the mantras you may use in a Kundalini Yoga session include:
- Sat Nam, which means "I am truth" or "Truth is my identity"
- Ong So Hung, which means "Creator, I am Thou"
- Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru, which means "Wise, wise is the one who serves Infinity"
- Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo, which means "I bow to the Creative Wisdom, I bow to the Divine Teacher within"

Kundalini Yoga is a combination of movement, breath (pranayama), meditation, mudras and chanting. Its goal is not only to make the body stronger and more energetic, but also to increase your level of self-awareness and consciousness.
The Kundalini is untapped energy, coiled at the base of the spine. This energy can be drawn up through the body, awakening each of the seven chakras. Full enlightenment occurs when this energy reaches the crown chakra at the top of the head.
Kundalini Yoga offers benefits for people of all ages. Some of these benefits are mental, whereas others are physical.
Reduced Stress and Anxiety.
One study involving elementary and middle school students found that, after 10 weeks of Kundalini Yoga, students had "significantly improved" levels of stress and resilience. Similar results have been found on the stress levels of adults.
Another piece of research reports that this style of yoga may also be helpful for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Other studies have connected Kundalini Yoga with lowering anxiety for people with generalized anxiety disorder.
