During our 3rd edition Graduation Day here at Veras Academy, Raphael Veras shared his view to the kids & parents as a coach with years of experience on what’s he’s seen make a difference in their life’s, and the values they need to follow whether it’s as an athlete or as a person.
Parents play a fundamental role. Consistency at home, encouragement through challenges, and trust in the process are what allow children to grow, not only as athletes, but as people.
Graduation is not simply about earning a new belt. It reflects discipline, commitment, respect, and the daily effort invested on and off the mats.
Jiu-Jitsu is a lifelong practice. Over the years, we’ve seen students who came with no confidence whatsoever become leaders within Veras Academy, with some continuing their journey to become European and World Champions.
Every journey is different but we all begin with the same first step.
