Skateparks - where to grip it and rip it Darkslide, airwalk or half pipe – where are Luxembourg’s skateparks located and what moves can you practise at them?

🇬🇧 On the weekend of 25 and 26 May 2024, urban sports will be the name of the game at the Old Slaughterhouse in Hollerich. The City will be offering introductory sessions to parkour, BMX, inline skating and skateboarding all weekend.

These activities are open to all ages and abilities (BMX is only recommended for ages 4 and over / Parkour for ages 10 and over).
In addition, the "board in design" exhibit featuring unique artwork on old skateboards by Lowic Villa will be on display throughout the weekend.

🇫🇷 Les samedi, 25 et dimanche, 26 mai 2024, la Ville invite à un weekend placé sous le signe des sports urbains sur le site de l’ancien abattoir à Hollerich. Différents cours axés sur la découverte et l’apprentissage du Parkour, du BMX, du Inline-skating et du skateboard seront proposés tout au long du weekend.

Les cours sont ouverts à tous les âges et tous les niveaux (le BMX étant conseillé à partir de 4 ans / parkour à partir de 10 ans).

Les œuvres d’art uniques réalisées par Lowic Villa sur de vieux skateboards dans le cadre de l’exposition « board in design » sont à découvrir tout au long du weekend.
