🏊‍♂️ 🦈 The Sharks Shine at Home During Swim Trophy – Stage 3! 🦈 🏊‍♀️

On Sunday, May 17, the Sharks hosted the 3rd stage of the Swim Trophy. It was an intense day marked by many outstanding performances, a fantastic atmosphere, and exemplary commitment from our swimmers throughout the competition.

In the morning, swimmers from the 2014 to 2017 age groups kicked off the event. Our youngest representatives showed great enthusiasm and determination, delivering excellent races and securing numerous podium finishes.

In the afternoon, the Academy and Youth groups took over with the same positive mindset. Facing strong competition, our swimmers rose to the challenge, achieving excellent performances and proudly representing the club’s colors.

🏆 This collective effort allowed the Sharks to win the overall team ranking of this home stage with an impressive total of 64 medals:

👏 Congratulations to our 70 swimmers for their dedication, fighting spirit, and teamwork, all of which contributed to this fantastic result.

🙏 A special thank you as well to all the volunteers, officials, parents, and supporters who helped make this day such a success. Organizing a competition is always a challenge, and your commitment played a major role in its success.

A wonderful reward for all the hard work accomplished since the beginning of the season. We look forward to the next event and to continuing this positive momentum!

• Julien Henx: strong 50 butterfly, committed swim despite fatigue from training camp
• Alex Kidd: just 0.10 off the qualifying standard in the 50 freestyle… very promising ⏱️
• Oscar Schons: consistent and close to his best times across all races
• Lou Jominet: improves her 1500 freestyle, getting closer to her best performances and finishing in the top 8 💪 (also 7th in the 800 freestyle)
• Leni Leonard: progressing in the 800 freestyle, 400 IM, and 1500 freestyle with a validated “Cadre B” time on this distance 🔥
• Serena Ferrario: the youngest in the group, delivers an excellent 200 backstroke and reaches a B final 👏

The Luxembourg Sharks were proudly represented during this day of competition with 82 swimmers entered. A very strong presence in the pool throughout the day, reflected in the impressive numbers achieved by the team.
