Soukayna MOREIRA (-52kg, Judo Club Stroossen Sportlycée Lëtzebuerg, WRL 37)est actuellement en stage international cadets EJU à Poreč, en Croatie 🇭🇷.
Une semaine d’entraînement intense, du 8 au 13 juin, accompagnée par l'entraineur National U15/U18 Arnaud Grisier.

Sélectionnée par la commission fédérale, elle prépare assidûment les Championnats d’Europe U18, qui auront lieu à Grande Canarie du 29 juin au 2 juillet 2026.💪👏

🇦🇹 Graz Junior European Cup 30-31.05.2026

Avec 617 judokas venus de 34 nations, le European Junior Cup de Graz a établi un nouveau record de participation pour une compétition junior. Dans ce contexte particulièrement relevé, nos trois Luxembourgeois ont montré de belles choses et continuent d’accumuler une précieuse expérience sur le circuit européen 👇

“Mixed feelings about this tournament. Kevin showed clear progression, winning his first fight by ippon and leading in his second. Leni also showed strong gripping and good attacks, but both made mistakes that cost them their fights. Matteo was surprised in the first 10 seconds. All three athletes have work to do during the training camp.”

À l’issue de la compétition, la délégation luxembourgeoise participera au stage d’entraînement international organisé à Graz jusqu’au 3 juin, afin de poursuivre sa préparation aux prochaines échéances 💪🥋

🇵🇹 European Cup Cadet Faro – 23.05.2026

Le judoka luxembourgeois Ugo MARCHIORI était engagé samedi à la European Cup Cadet de Faro, au Portugal. Il était accompagné par Arnaud Grisier, Entraîneur National U15/U18.

🥋 Ugo MARCHIORI (–55 kg / 48 participants, Judo JuJitsu Dudelange, Sportlycée, WRL 87)

❌ 1er tour : défaite au Golden Score contre 🇵🇹 Diogo SOARES – pas de repêchage

➡️ Teseo MARCHIORI (JJJ Dudelange, Sportlycée) a également rejoint le déplacement au Portugal afin de participer au Training Camp international organisé à Faro après la compétition.

🗣 Arnaud GRISIER :
« Forcément de la frustration après une défaite au premier tour sans repêchage. Ugo a réussi à bien neutraliser le système d’attaque de son adversaire, sans toutefois parvenir à trouver l’ouverture pour marquer. Place maintenant au Training Camp afin de poursuivre la préparation pour les prochaines échéances à Dudelange, Venray et Sindelfingen. »

One Big Judo Family at the Talent Cup

During the National Talent Team Cup U9-U11, coaches from clubs across Luxembourg had the unique opportunity to guide mixed teams made up of young judokas from different clubs throughout the country.

Beyond the competition itself, this special format allowed children to meet, learn together, and share the core values of Judo:
• Friendship
• Respect
• mutual support
• and team spirit

Seeing coaches encouraging and supporting judokas from different clubs was a wonderful example of fraternity, unity, and the strong bonds within our great Judo family.
A huge thank you to all the coaches for their commitment, kindness, and passion throughout the day.

Look Back at the 2026 National Team Talent Cup

This Sunday, May 17, the Hall National des Arts Martiaux in Strassen hosted a magnificent edition of the U9-U11 National Team Talent Cup.

Around a hundred young judokas shared an exceptional day centered around:
• Friendship
• Self-surpassing
• Respect
• And the joy of practicing together

One of the highlights of this Talent Cup was the composition of the teams: they were made up of judokas from the various participating clubs. To differentiate them, each team wore a specific belt color; these colors were purely fictional and did not represent the judokas' actual ranks. It was a beautiful way to highlight the fundamental values of Judo, sharing, connecting, and team spirit, beyond the colors of each individual club.

Between guided training sessions, intense matches, and non-stop cheering, the young judokas put on a superb display of Luxembourgish judo and its promising next generation.

A huge thank you to all the clubs, coaches, young referees, volunteers, and families for their commitment throughout the day.
