Ready for an adventure walk with the brothers! We observe the transformation of the forest from the summer into early autumn, as it prepares for the winter.

Come and join us before the snow falls, because then we will have another story to tell!

just another day in our horsy family

People always wonder how we manage with five kids, nine horses and no workers or babysitters. No one believes, but it's easier than people think. Just one step at the time, and enjoying every hoofbeat of it!

If you want to feel the rhythms of countryside, the hear autumn leaves fall, smell the sweet breath of ponies and see the colours change to crimson, come and visit us.
You will always be welcome at Kumeļi!

On a grey horse. Period. Maybe she's not a born show jumper, but she's a hard worker and a very good looking lady.

Bingo, Bingo, Bingo.
That's the name. I would have called him the best young horse ever, only I have got two more who are also the best young horses ever, lol.
I don't know how, but somehow I always manage to get really cool horses!

So how does feeling five kids and seven horses feel??
People often assume that having many horses meane a lot of hard work, and having multiple kids is a lot of stress. While I don't want to idealise, I have to disappoint those people who want to sympathise with our hard life.
It's a lot of work, but also fun.
And one thing oft assumed is that we have limited time to spare for each of the kids. I hope that you change your mind after these photos. Careful planning means that we can have a good time with each individual child. But the best thing about growing up in a big family is of course the fact that they can play together and even ride together!
