The Riga Hockey School was founded in 2005 with the aim of:
organize healthy recreation for children and teenagers;
restore and increase the physical and mental abilities of children and adolescents;
develop skills in ice hockey and other team games;
promote the popularity of hockey among both adults and youth;
organize hockey game training and practice;
organize hockey game competitions and events related to education about hockey.
