Meet Valentīns Kļeviņskis! 🇱🇻💪

Valentīns Kļeviņskis began competing in powerlifting in 2022, making an immediate impact at his very first GPC Latvia Championship. At just 20 years old, he claimed 2nd Place Overall in the Junior Division with an impressive 800 kg total.

Although powerlifting started as a hobby, Valentīns has built his reputation in both Powerlifting and Strongman, becoming the holder of multiple Latvian records across different weight classes. Throughout his junior career, he remained the best bench presser in every competition he entered.

🏋️ Personal Bests

Squat: 330 kg

Bench Press: 200 kg

Deadlift: 340 kg

Standing Press: 170 kg

One of the most remarkable chapters of his career came after suffering multiple herniated discs two years ago. Despite doctors advising him to stop competing, Valentīns fought his way back and has since returned to both Strongman and Powerlifting competitions. Although he is still recovering, he continues to push his limits with determination and passion.

To win the Standing Press discipline and once again prove his fighting spirit on the WRPF platform.

Meet Justina Kozlovskaja! 🇱🇹💪
Justina Kozlovskaja has dedicated many years to strength training and has been competing in powerlifting for the past two years, quickly establishing herself as one of the strongest female athletes in the Baltic region.

Her greatest international achievement is winning Silver at the 2024 GPC World Powerlifting Championship in Slovakia in her bodyweight category. She is also a multiple-time Lithuanian and Latvian Champion.

Squat: 147.5 kg

Bench Press: 82.5 kg

Deadlift: 160 kg

In addition to powerlifting, Justina actively competes in Strongman and Pull-Up competitions, proving her versatility and passion for strength sports.

Meet Valentins Morozovs! 🇱🇻💪
Valentins Morozovs is one of Latvia's most experienced powerlifters, with 10 years of competitive experience and a distinguished career in strength sports.

He is a Master of Sport in Powerlifting and the Latvian Push & Pull Record Holder in both the WRPF and GPC federations.

🏋️ Official Competition Personal Bests

Bench Press: 195 kg (82.5 kg weight class)

Deadlift: 260 kg (75 kg weight class)

Beyond competing, Valentins is also an official WRPF referee, contributing to the development and integrity of powerlifting both on and off the platform.

To demonstrate his experience, deliver his strongest performance, and continue setting the standard for Latvian powerlifting.

Meet Marina Filatova! 🇱🇻💪
Marina Filatova has been dedicated to powerlifting for the past two and a half years and is currently a Candidate for Master of Sport in Powerlifting.

Her best official competition results are:

🏋️ Squat: 132.5 kg
🏋️ Bench Press: 60 kg
🏋️ Deadlift: 132.5 kg

Outside the platform, Marina is the co-owner of a beauty studio. She believes that discipline, consistency, and determination are the keys to success in both sport and life.

To set new personal records, deliver her best performance, and continue growing as a competitive powerlifter.

Meet Modestas Beinoravičius! 🇱🇹💪
Modestas Beinoravičius has been competing in powerlifting since 2014, building an impressive career and becoming one of Lithuania's strongest athletes in the M1 -110 kg category.

He is the Lithuanian M1 (-110 kg) All-Time Record Holder, with official national records of:

🏆 Squat: 265 kg
🏆 Bench Press: 197.5 kg
🏆 Deadlift: 297.5 kg

His all-time personal bests are:

🏋️ Squat: 275 kg
🏋️ Bench Press: 205 kg
🏋️ Deadlift: 305 kg

With more than a decade of competitive experience, Modestas continues to push his limits and inspire athletes through his dedication to strength sports.

Meet Juris Indāns! 🇱🇻💪
Juris Indāns is one of Latvia's rapidly rising bench press athletes. Since beginning his competitive journey in 2024, his determination and disciplined training have already earned him impressive international success.

🏆 Major achievements:

🥇 Gold Medal – Northern Europe Championship (Lithuania)

🥈 Silver Medal – Central Europe Championship (Poland)

🥈🥈 Two-time Silver Medalist – WRPF Baltic Cup

His current official competition Bench Press personal record is 177.5 kg, achieved this spring.

Juris believes that age is never a limitation. His journey proves that with discipline, consistency, and determination, new achievements are always possible.

Meet Didzis Zariņš! 🇱🇻💪

One of Latvia's strongest strength athletes is coming to the WRPF Latvia Open Championship – Strength Iron Festival.

Since 2010, Didzis has represented Latvia in international Strongman competitions, building an impressive career and setting national records. He currently holds the Latvian Log Lift Record (210 kg) and the Latvian Deadlift Record (430 kg with straps).

His best powerlifting result includes:
🏋️ Squat – 335 kg
🏋️ Bench Press – 190 kg
🏋️ Deadlift – 360 kg

This season he has already lifted 180 kg in the bench press and 350 kg in the deadlift in Power Duo.

🎯 His goal at WRPF Latvia?
"To leave another memorable record in the WRPF record book."

11.07.2026 norisinājās WRPF Latvia tiesnešu komandas tikšanās, kurā pulcējās federācijas tiesneši, lai kopīgi strādātu pie tiesāšanas kvalitātes un vienotu profesionālo standartu pilnveides.

Tikšanās laikā apspriedām vairākus nozīmīgus jautājumus:
✔️ tiesāšanas kolīzijas un sarežģītas situācijas;
✔️ vienota tiesāšanas standarta veidošanu WRPF Latvia ietvaros;
✔️ pieredzi un praksi starptautiskajos čempionātos;
✔️ jaunās disciplīnas – spiešana stāvus (Army Press) – noteikumus un tiesāšanas principus;
✔️ gatavošanos gaidāmajiem federācijas čempionātiem.

Šādas tikšanās ir ļoti nozīmīga daļa no federācijas attīstības. Tās dod iespēju tiesnešiem dalīties pieredzē, analizēt sarežģītas situācijas, diskutēt par noteikumu interpretāciju un nonākt pie vienotas izpratnes par tiesāšanas principiem.

Meet Daria Larina, one of the athletes competing at the WRPF Latvia Championship "Strength Iron Festival"! 💪

An active competitive athlete, Daria is a Master of Sport in Classic Powerlifting (Wraps) and a Latvian record holder in Powerlifting and Push & Pull across multiple federations, including WRPF and GPC. She is a Champion of Latvia and Lithuania, an international medalist in NAC Women's Bodybuilding, a certified strength and conditioning coach, and a SPA therapist specializing in wellness massage. At this championship, she is ready to demonstrate her strength, experience, and competitive spirit on the WRPF Latvia platform. 🔥
